I could talk for HOURS about Dean's relationship with Chuck. But I could talk for ETERNITY about Castiel's relationship with Chuck. He believed when no one else would. He fought to find Chuck when everyone thought it was useless. Chuck let Castiel down. The angel of Thursday, the most loyal to Chuck because in every universe Castiel obeyed except 1. He's the only angel we know of to do that. Even Michael went against Chuck in two universes. Castiel the broken solider who could never tell why he was so fascinated humanity. The angel that had to be reset by Naomi so many times. The angel who could call himself god and still live. Castiel was even named Chuck's favorite. I WANT TO DEEP DIVE INTO THEIR COMPLEX TOXIC FAMILIAL RELATIONSHIP. Because at the end of the day, Castiel is Chuck's son. Just isn't one as special as the arcs, but he is Chuck's son. And that hurts so much. Castiel was the son Chuck endlessly sacrificed for Sam and Dean. Humanity. If anyone else here is Christian you'll get at the parallel I'm getting at.

It BROKE ME that Dean got so desperate that despite his doubts… he called out to God. Only to find out that every single thing that has happened to them, was by Gods own hands. He willed it. He wrote it. He allowed then to go through so much pain. Bc he thought it was “fun.” It BROKE ME…. And then for Dean to die the way he did as well. I know it needed to happen. But it broke me. This story runs SO DEEP!!!!
