i like shera’s attitude about men, but i disagree on friends. good female friendships exist & if you find a good one, no shame in putting effort. she doesn’t care about friends because she has a sister & daughters. not all of us do & enjoy good friendships that go beyond surface level.

So gratitude for Shera, I use to chase friendships, I was always looking for friends, I would show people how to be a friend in hopes they would show me the same friendship, I got tired of it and just stop bothering. She’s right I am not chasing friendships, only focusing on money. People are draining and too hot and cold.

friendships feel exhausting lately. I put in all the effort to call and plan things which became one-sided, but everyone is 'too busy.' It seems like there's always competition or jealousy instead of actual support. It feels totally one-sided compared to how things used to be reciprocated.
