Nepal didn’t cause this. The mountains are melting because of decades of carbon pumped into the atmosphere by the industrialized world, and what happened here won’t stay here. Glacial floods today, coastal cities tomorrow. If we don’t hold the biggest polluters accountable, especially in the west, Nepal won’t be the last place we watch disappear. This is the preview, not the exception.
