My friend and I were playing and she said “It’s funny that there’s a full moon irl and in game.” I had to look up into the sky in the game and take a sec to see what she meant before I said “Maggie…that’s the balloon that you were obsessed over.”

Genuinely had this convo too. We were at the red tower, i looked up and was like “wheres the moon… i think theres no moon” i see the balloon “oh there it is” and then get told “nah… thats the balloon”

my theory as someone who has yet to reach the balloon - people before felt uneasy without a moon and created their own moon that looked legit from a distance, giving them brief illusions the moon still exists
