I think he stopped moving forward. This is why I hate the shootout. They should make it so there’s a chaser - as soon as they touch the puck someone starts chasing from like the corner of the blue line or something.

No goal…. NHL rule reads player must make a continuous attempt to advance the puck TOWARDS the net. Once he started back skating the attempt should be over. No im not saying this goal was t allowed I’m saying it shouldn’t have been allowed
