Electric is better, but electric cost is up so what are you really saving? And fuel cars are much cleaner today so you say 'so horrible' it's not. Gavin newsom is so corrupt people just lost trust so anything he says goes out the window. I do appreciate 2 things he did lol

I'm 47 years old and have lived in California my whole life. Any Californian who has lived here before 2010 have no idea how bad the smog was. We literally had smog days that said don't go outside. I could not see the Valley coming home from Tahoe. Our air, lakes, land and the Ocean are more cleaner. If these people really hate California then they can leave. Lets not forget that most people who talk crap about our state have never even been here. Californians voted for the gas tax tgst goes towardsour infrastructure. I can go on and on about why peope should be greatfull to live in California. They can go be broke in a red state and see how that works out.

The comments have really changed over the past year. I would say 60-70% are pure bots! I read that they tell the AI bots to rage bait in the comments in order to increase engagement on the social platform. Sometimes you can actually see a pattern where all the comments are the same but worded slightly different. It is so bad now that I don't get any enjoyment out of reading the comments bc most of it is fake 🙁

I’ll stay with gas powered vehicles ty. EVs are unreliable &short lived. You can have solar panels and charging stations everywhere and it won’t be enough to charge every EV. It’s not possible.

I swear the last few years, comments related to EV stuff have been super bot driven. that's probably also true for everything Gavin's gonna post between now and 2028. I remember seeing comments of people speculating about the ev industry trying to take down fuel vehicles and I was thought, you really think the small "corrupt" electric industry is the bad guy against big oil??

People want instant gratification, an unfortunately that’s something that the left side has a problem with just as bad as the right side is. Our issue in our side is that people want immediate results and they want the most perfect candidate and that’s not how things work. By California removing diesel buses they’re gonna remove substantial pollution from the air and in the long run that’s good for everyone. That’s less pollutants in the air. That means that people are gonna get less sick which means less people are gonna need to go to the hospital or the clinic to get treated for respiratory issues or other things but people rather double down on a negativity because it’s easier

I am a native-born Californian who lived in the Midwest for a decade as an adult. My time there made me realize “Democrats” and “progressives” hate California and our politicians soooooooo much more than MAGA / Republicans do. It’s the success, I think. We DO the things they can only *talk* about. They hate our success because it reminds them of the things they haven’t accomplished — which might force them to self-reflect (blasphemy to Midwesterners). So, they deflect to affordability, which is the problem that THEY contribute to. Just stay in Naperville, Ferndale, and Cincinnati and maybe San Diego won’t be as expensive. 🤷🏻♀️
