I realize that bottled water is really expensive, but our tapwater is horrible and that is the only reason I buy I probably should buy some sort of filtration system

My potato farmer friend sells the same potatoes to Whole Foods as he does to the grocery chains. The Whole Foods ones are labeled organic. The same potatoes

yea, but #3 is the ADHD tax. if i buy it normal, it goes to waste because I forget about it or dont want to deal with it later when the brain energy has gone.

I go for Salad Kits, otherwise I wouldn't eat "fresh" vegetables. I'm so blasé about defrosting frozen vegetables, they'll sit in the freezer for months.

being a NY'er I completely agree with you about bottled water! however I lived in Las Vegas and all the water comes from the Colorado River which is extremely hard and Brita pictures don't cut it - bottled water is a must out west which is why it's much less expensive in the supermarkets than in the East Coast
