The sleepless nights, the worrying, the regret, the guilt, the constant increased heart rate, I genuinely didn’t think I would find it so so hard. Years of waiting to get my own dog had left me with so much pressure on myself to do everything right from the beginning. And it just doesn’t go like that. 7 months into having Winnie & it’s all a distant memory now, but I won’t forget those few few weeks ever.
