@ufdtech: The fact that you stick with Windows is a skill issue to be honest. One of the best things to come out of the Steam Machine launch was Valve finally putting the full release of SteamOS out in the wild, and I finally got to try it with some notoriously tricky computer parts - Intel’s graphics cards. Getting the mainstream B580 set up is as easy as getting the latest main release, whereas the workstation B70 with 32 gigabytes of RAM, required me to update SteamOS to version 3.9 first before it would even turn on. But that 3.9 update got me faster FPS on the B580 and even though the Arc Pro card is 4-5 times the price, it’s only roughly 20-30 percent faster at gaming. THe main thing is that you’re not forced to only use AMD hardware, even though it’s the only thing that ships with Valve’s devices. They’re opening it up, and the only thing that’s holding back is your Nvidia card, or your willingness to try other Linuxes like CachyOS, or its the fact that you play games with unsupported anticheat, and that’s its own problem
