is the C of O for that land specifically or it covers an entire area. If it covers a big parcel of land it means that tge Surveyor that did your own investigation missed that the C of O didn't cover the land that you bought. The new Lawyer possibly used a Surveyor that found out that. The C of O is still there but your land is not within the co- orinates. if you doubt, go to land survey office in Alausa yourself, get a Surveyor from there to come to the land and pick co-ordinates. you will get the truth.

you said there was a C of O in place when they initially bought, with this in place, the it's a Governors Consent he that is now selling would have to give the new buyer. How did they get their own Governors Consent from previous C of O that not longer exist? unless I did not get the story well
