@wellnessfandom: Salmon is one of the most nutrient-dense protein choices you can put on your plate. 🐟 It provides complete protein along with omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, vitamin B12, selenium and vitamin D, all of which contribute to normal heart, brain, muscle and immune function. Grilling, baking, steaming, poaching, pan-frying and air-frying can all be healthy ways to prepare it. The biggest nutritional difference usually comes from portion size and what you add during cooking. Pan-frying with oil or butter can increase calories, while steaming or poaching generally requires little or no added fat. One important correction to the graphic: cooking salmon differently does not inherently change a same-sized portion from 140 to 210 calories. Water loss, added oils, sauces and the exact weight/type of salmon explain most of those differences. Protein content should also remain fairly similar when comparing equivalent portions.
