Steak Alfredo 🇮🇹 I can already sense the Italians ain’t gonna like this version, but hey, it tasted good 🤓 I think non-Italians make better pasta anyways 🙂 Ingredients: Steak: Cow pieces Dwarf onions Fresh thyme Garlic Butter Pasta: 400g tagliatelle 200ml double cream Parmigiano Reggiano 6 cloves garlic, diced Parsley 2 tbsp flour Mozzarella (optional) Steak Seasoning: 2 tbsp paprika 1 tsp cayenne powder 1 tbsp smoked paprika 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder Method: 1️⃣ Season the steak with salt only. This helps you get a nice crust without any seasonings burning. 2️⃣ Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add your pasta of choice and cook until al dente. 3️⃣ Heat a pan with oil and sear the steak on both sides. Add butter, dwarf onions, garlic and fresh thyme, then baste the steak with the melted butter. 4️⃣ Add the steak seasoning mix during the last 1–2 minutes of cooking so the spices don’t burn. Remove the steak around 3–4°C before your target temperature, as it’ll continue cooking while it rests. 5️⃣ Rest the steak for roughly as long as you cooked it. 6️⃣ In the same pan, add the diced garlic and sauté for around 1 minute. I actually added mine after the flour :( Don’t make my mistake 🤓 7️⃣ Add 2 tbsp flour and cook for 1–2 minutes. Pour in the double cream, then add a little water to loosen the sauce until you get your desired consistency. 8️⃣ Add the Parmigiano Reggiano and stir until melted and combined. 9️⃣ Add the cooked pasta and parsley, then toss everything together until coated. I also added a handful of mozzarella for extra creaminess 🧀 🔟 Slice your rested steak, serve it over the pasta and enjoy # #fyp #EasyRecipes #pasta #steak #alfredo
