My husband bitched that I didn't put enough mayo on his sandwich 12 years ago. He's been making his own lunch since. I don't do his laundry. I don't make his plate. I won't share a bathroom with him so he cleans his own bathroom. I work full time and I didn't get married to have another child.

I pack my wife’s lunch for her every day before I head out for work cause she leaves after, and it doesn’t matter how upset I’m with her or annoyed, I’ll always make her lunch 💁🏻♂️obviously “she can do it herself” but that’s not how we do things in this household, I don’t hold shit against her just to make myself feel better, we are both very consistent people so doesn’t matter the mood we stay mature, life’s too short. As a kid I had parents who would use EVERYTHING against me if I even slightly annoyed them, so I promised myself I’d never do that to my wife and kids, yes we get upset and annoyed, but we also keep the respect and the consistency because we don’t use shit against each other, we talk it out and move on
