Do you list that you have a reclining couch on your listing? If not, then people don't even know when booking so I don't believe it's going to affect the amount of bookings. But to answer your question, I would not care if there is reclining furniture when booking

Doesn’t make or break it but it is a bonus if it reclines. Especially as someone who has medical issues and sometimes I have to sleep at an incline, and that means taking a wedge when I travel and this would allow me to leave that huge pillow at home.

I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb and hoped the couch was a recliner. Also never seen a reclining couch at one. I think if it’s clean and presentable, I’m happy.

I just stayed at an air bnb for a week and I think I sat on the couch maybe once. I would much prefer a sleeper option. We had an issue with naps and lighting in our air bnb

I think you should about it from the perspective of "Is the money that I can get from new potential guests that choose our Airbnb because it sleeps more people worth the extra cleaning?". And how much more expensive recliner is and is it worth the extra money ?

I have that same exact couch that you were looking into. It’s very comfortable. I bought the cushioned ottoman that it comes with and it’s nice for putting your feet up or just some extra room for guests

I have never considered what type of couch was in my Airbnb. Honestly, you don’t want it because it’s hard to clean and you are the one that cleans so you get the final say.
