Get a lawyer to represent your Mom, you guys got scammed. The car was sold to you faulty, the fact the service book was not in the car is a tell tell sign. Including the car service light issue, if another mechanic looks at that car they will be able to tell what is actually going on under the bonnet of the car.

This reminds me of WeBuyCars they did not tell us that the Airbag was damaged. They did not tell us the car was involved in an accident. When we found out, they told us that's our problem. Yhoooo some car dealerships are just demons
