We got swept away from shore in Cabo on 8/14. We had taken a boat out to lovers Beach and walked over to divorce Beach for pictures We knew not this one there.. There were many others over there as well, we were standing on dry sand in front of rocks when out of nowhere a rogue wave came up and swept me away and swept him away, took us out, threw me back up against the rocks on shore, took me back out. And then finally it broke so I could crawl away on my hands and knees. My husband was taken out and held underwater for a long time. Nobody would help of course because it’s too dangerous. I was screaming and about to go back in after him when the waves broke a little , and then out of nowhere, two heroes from Colorado came running across the beach from lovers Beach and pulled him out as he was on his last breath floating on his back, completely naked because the waves had taken his clothes off , we had to be taken by water, ambulance and land ambulance and a night in the hospital. thankful to be alive.
