School was about to get INTERESTING! ✨Recipe: Ingredients: • 1 cup water • ¼ cup unsalted butter, cubed • 1 tbsp granulated sugar • ¼ tsp salt • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 2 large eggs • ½ tsp vanilla extract For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating: • ½ cup granulated sugar • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon Directions: 1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. 2. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the water, butter, sugar, and salt to a boil. Reduce heat to low and stir in the flour, mixing continuously until a smooth dough forms, about 1–2 minutes. Transfer to a mixing bowl and let cool for 5 minutes. 3. Add the vanilla extract and egg to the dough. Using an electric mixer, blend until fully combined and smooth. (It may look like it's separating at first—keep mixing, and it will come together!). 4. Divide into 4 bowls and dye each one a color of your choice. On a cling wrap film, spread the colors, then wrap together. 5. Transfer the dough ball to a piping bag fitted with a small star tip (no larger than ½ inch). Pipe 4-inch lengths onto a parchment-lined tray, using scissors to cut the ends cleanly. Freeze for 15 minutes. 6. Fry at 350°F for 30-60 seconds until golden. Toss in cinnamon sugar and enjoy this colorfully sweet treat!
