Go to the reduced section in ikea, they always have bits of wood for so cheap. I just got the perfect size for my alcove cupboard I built and it was only £10 x

Looking good!! Can you get a bit of MDF (make a template with cardboard first!) and then wrap it with peel + stick vinyl, and then silicone the edges at the wall so it looks built in?

Go to B&Q and buy a kitchen end panel and cut to size for the top, will prob be cheaper than a bit of worktop

have a look on Facebook marketplace for worktop cut offs even if you find one perfect size but no your style you could vinyl wrap it xx
