@gracemoore198: McDonald's (MCD) set plans to bring back its Spicy Chicken McNuggets menu offering next week for a limited time. The restaurant company will add Spicy Chicken McNuggets to the national menu on September 1. The spiced version of the classic McNuggets includes adding cayenne and chili peppers to the signature tempura batter. It will be the first national menu run for Spicy Chicken McNuggets since 2024. Earlier in the week, Burger King (QSR) launched an upgraded BK Chicken Nuggets that it noted is marinated in a flavorful mixture for increased juiciness and coated with a crispier, golden breading. The chain also added more dipping sauces for the menu item. Also in the chicken nugget mix, Wendy's (WEN) is running a promotion until September 27 that offers the 10-piece Classic or Spicy Nuggets for $1.99 with any purchase, exclusively in the Wendy's (WEN) app. Shares of McDonald's (MCD) have slumped over the last week and drifted to a new 52-week low of $259.85 on Thursday.
