You ALWAYS want cold water because the freshest water you'll get. Hot water is stored in your water heater & who knows how long your waters been sitting in there.

Everyone! Try Chris Young’s $6 Michelin Star chicken stock recipe. I’ve done it 4 times and it’s so easy and you get that gelatinous stock we all want. FULL VIDEO on YOUTUBE. you can see it on tik tok too. Probably not the full video though

My last batch contained turkey duck and chicken bones. I made a turducken stock.

I make my own bone broth and stocks and when I tell you it's better then any store bought. Then we freeze it in ice trays. After it freezes we store it in ziplock bags.

My butcher clips the chicken feet nails, and it makes them much less unappealing 😁

Agreed! I buy already roasted chickens at supermarket for dinner, bones get broken & frozen. all veg scraps from other meals get saved in a ziploc in frzr. when all are full, bones simmered for 24 hours, veg 2 hrs. DELISH!

Um that’s not what chicken stock is supposed to look like? It CAN look like that, but I’ve made stock from scratch tons of times and it doesn’t always gelatinize

Question! Do you put it straight in the freezer hot or does it need to cool down first?
