I drive trucks and that allows a lot of time for thought. The other morning I was recording a content video and noticed the visual on the camera screen looked a bit different than what I was “seeing” in real life. Timing, colors, and depth were all off from what I was seeing. I began going down the rabbit hole on that. We only “see” 0.00035% of reality. When said the scientific way; the human eyes detect visible light of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is the 3rd dimension. And when we break down “see” we find that it’s really nothing more than the eyes sending snapshots of signals to the brain to put together….. 👀 All that said, if true, means the brain is really just interpreting a bunch of information that is sent to it by the eyes. Could this be why two or more people can “see” the same thing but have different interpretations of what happened? Could I be seeing blue and you be seeing red but bc we were taught that it’s orange we both say this colors are blue? Could we all be seeing different versions of any and everything and interpret them in the same way because we were taught that’s what the thing is? No one has ever seen through anyone else’s eyes. No one has ever understood from inside anyone else’s brain so how can we be sure that what we see is being seen by everyone else in the same way? These days I can’t be too sure of anything but I love the fact that I don’t have to feel alone in my thoughts anymore because people like you are talking about the things that keep me up at night.

Tip :
My thoughts are that hallucinations don’t necessarily require the ability to see. What did he describe seeing? Could he identify those things? Did he see a cat, for instance? Could he describe its features? When those of us who have vision are dreaming/having hallucinations, we are able to describe what we are seeing (or thought we saw) because we know how to describe things that we saw; but, we are not SEEING those things at all. They are figments of our imaginations nonetheless.
