That’s what I’m saying—the whole “we weren’t colonized” argument isn’t useful if we’re not using that independence to move forward. Look at how many things Kenyans are using and how much more open Kenya is to the outside world.
Every time people see white or Arab people in Ethiopia, they start asking, “Why are there so many Arabs? Why are there so many white people?” Why? Being independent and not colonized is a good thing, but it shouldn’t become an excuse to reject outside influence or opportunities.
Sometimes I feel like we’re way behind as a people because we focus too much on proving that we weren’t colonized instead of focusing on development, openness, and learning from others. And now, after all that, people want more white people and foreigners in the country 😂😂.
At some point, you have to accept where you are, learn from other countries, and move forward instead of constantly looking for someone to blame.🤣🤣 no one wants to visit black Nation its ethiopian who plays pan africanist and say we are black no white wants to visit black country or Sub-Saharan African
