When you add the first set of shadows, is that a darker color red or just the same paint you used to make the door? And if it’s the same, do you concentrate it or is legit the same paint but jsut a new layer on top

I have been wanting to do watercolors for my Christmas cards this year and have been browsing ideas online. I don’t really have any experience with watercolors, but have been wanting to get into it. I think I will darken the greenery and the door and add clusters of three dots. This will look very Christmasy. Maybe I will add a little snow collection on the door frame. This is beautiful. I could even cut a slit in the mail full and have a little envelope you could pull out with an extra message. Fun!
