The thing is cheating is also a consequence of other things in marriage and not a cause. Some of these men do that cause their wives cheated, others do it cause they cheated and when questioned, they turned violent. So yes cheating has a role to play in femicide. But then cheating is also a consequence and not a cause. The real question remains, if every woman who cheats stops, will it stop femicide? Just like each time there’s grape, we are told to dress better, etc. Will those things if done stop the grape? If the answer is no, then problem is deeper than all the so called causes we are outlining everyday.
