I helped my ex through his addiction recovery and we build a business together. Once the business was really profitable, he left for his married secretary. We never put my name on the company because it was our “family business” and he said I didn’t need to. I had to fight him for a fraction of that company after 20 years married. They use you until they don’t need you.

Same girl. I was the one paying for everything the whole 8 years we were together, and then he finally got a good paying job and was supposed to help me… and then….
