I use the fan blades for my vintage Coach bag display. I added a 6 inch piece of wood between the blade and hardware, then mounted it to the wall. I can sit them on the shelf and hang from the hardware.

Or - do this on the blades of an existing ceiling fan. My mother-in-law painted the fan blades bright colors and then painted a Sesame Street character on each blade for my nephew's nursery. It was super cute and one of a kind.
