if you think about it. we cant see what they saw since we are looking at it on a phone screen. they see it in real life. and they know, no matter what they do ther is no way you are getting away from that size of that wave coming towards you. you pretty much have accepted your fate and you know your time is about to come and instead of running and panicking their last minute, they rather embrace the power of nature, as well as their last 20 seconds of being alive.
