We can become so focused on the next goal, the next chapter, and everything we still want to accomplish that we forget to recognize everything we’ve already overcome. Growth isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself. Setting boundaries. Walking away from what no longer serves you. Getting back up after a hard day. Learning to be comfortable with yourself. And simply continuing to show up. You may not be exactly where you thought you’d be, but that doesn’t mean you’re not making progress. So today, instead of asking yourself, “Why am I not further?” Ask yourself, “How far have I already come?” Give yourself some credit.
