Me and my sister used it out of curiosity and it surprised tf out of us. I thought it was basically the same as bleaching your skin but it’s not. I did my research and based off the article I read it basically helps get rid of all the dead skin cells that’s deep into the skin.

body wash isn't made to lighten skin it's supposed to CLEAN the skin. Any body wash with vitamin c, tumeric, and niacinamide or other brightening components will have this affect. If it does it instantly it probably has some bleaching properties in it because unless your overly dirty, it's a process that's supposed to work overtime. It could also be that you just moisturized after the cut in the video because that looked like dry skin, not hyperpigmentation (which doesn't go away instantly) or dirt.
