She was in love with that piece of shit, and only released the curse of the titans after 80% of the world had been trampled and Eren had died. And the whole reason for this was “she had to see Mikasa kill the person she loved” which is just fucking bullshit because that monster King Fritz enslaved Ymir, conquered nations using her powers that she got after he had her hunted down like a wild animal, made her his concubine, then completely disregarded her death and had their three daughters eat her so that he could stay in power. Eren saved Mikasa’s life many times, they both loved each other, he longed for freedom for everyone while King Fritz sought to be above everyone. I get that she probably had major Stockholm syndrome, but it pisses me off that the world had to nearly end and Eren had to die just for her to end the curse that led to the cycle of hatred in the first place.
