hey guys!! ive been struggling with acne for a little over a year now and ive learned so much! to all those concerned: i am a liscenced Cosmetologist AND Esthetician!! i understand how the skin barrier works. i tried pretty much everything you can possibly imagine from chemical peels to bacitracin to panoxl to vitamin C and NOTHING worked for me. tretinoin can be EXTREMELY damaging to the skin barrier when the skin is not accustomed to high exfoliation or retinols. my purging phase with the peeling only lasted 1-2 weeks and after that it was wonderful!! i used it every other night on 0.025% whenever i had the peeling. i started using regular(no scents or additives) Vaseline on top of the Tretinoin and it immediately got significantly better. I wash my face morning and night!! SPF every day girl!! I appreciate all your suggestions and concerns but i am a licensed professional and i always believe that you know your own skin better than strangers online!💞
