as a woman, it's terrifying that we're waiting for jury to decide whether the husband's word is enough to put someone in prison for the rest of their lives. "Patrick said" should result in the testimony in question being thrown out.

Apparently Massachusetts’s still thinks they’re in the era of the Salem Witch trials bc the evidence was disastrous and biased. 31+ times that “experts” cited Patrick said as their source.

Ive got a question from the Uk, i literally know nothing of the US political system… but how do they know if the jury have spoken about it? Or checked social media etc? Are they sent home for the weekend? xx

this WHOLE case in its entirety was hearsay. piss poor job of evidence collection, commonwealth "expert" witnesses all unqualified (NONE of them were true experts in Postpartum depression, hell, some of them hadn't even treated these types of women for DECADES!), the time line physically impossible to do unless there was a second person there (aka the unidentified DNA), the sailor tied knots from the exercise bands on the children, Lindsay's body temperature... EVERYTHING the commonwealth presented gave REASONABLE DOUBT.

I think they’re taking in all the evidence carefully. The longer they go, I worry about a hung jury, but right now they’re carefully deliberating, which is what they SHOULD do. There was SOOOOO much (conflicting) testimony & exhibits.
