@artvangarde: Joshua Miller II creates delicate miniature sculptures from dandelions and other plant materials, transforming ordinary stems into intricate forms by hand. Rather than adding conventional sculpting materials, Miller cuts, splits and curls the plant itself. Thin strips of the fresh stem naturally bend into loops and spirals, allowing him to construct tiny figures and complex organic shapes. The process turns something normally overlooked and extremely temporary into a detailed sculpture. Because the material is still a plant, each piece remains fragile and ephemeral, changing as it dries. #artist #art #avantgarde #plants #niche
