plug essentials into the portable power bank, make sure the solar panels are in place, close all curtains, go to bed. I already have 2 x 25ltr water containers and enough tins of food for me and the dogs to last 2 weeks.

I've got loads of stuff, gas stoves, wind up torch & radio, candles, paraffin lamps etc. but it's scattered around the house, mainly in the garage & shed under a ton of other 💩...so I would probably just go to bed & if it was still off in the morning, go find it them. I'd be fine for a couple of weeks, but let's face it, if we're talking long term, as a fifty something with a dodgy knee & hip, forget it!
