i think the solution is for ao3 to start checking their volunteers n moderators n shit and actually hiring a proper team that will actively look thru fanfics and fanfic comments. otherwise it just feels like these mods r just disregarding reports (which iirc theyve done before when it comes to rpf) for their own sake

It's not even an archive 😭😭 Works can very easily deleted and removed from it. Archives also have strict rules on what and what isn't allowed to the public because of the contents AFAIK??

And yk ao3 the argument they use abt ao3 being an archive really has no substance because ao3 is really only an archive in name. If it was an actual archive you'd be allowed to upload fanfics from other sites or ones that the author deleted for 'archival purposes', similar to the internet archive, but that isnt allowed. They just use the argument as an excuse for why their creepy ass shit should stay up :/
