Yea, so this is actually a current problem in Venezuela. At today's rate, $1 USD equals 79,167,000,000,000,000 (79 QUADRILLION) old Bolívares. Even though right now in Venezuela it’s seen as just ~791 Bolívares, the dictatorial government that has been in power for the past 27 years DELETED 14 zeros off its cash so people wouldn't see how badly they ruined the economy and how out of control they let inflation get. Removing zeros from money is the ultimate govt gaslighting. The ONLY reason we use the version without zeros is because card machines and calculators literally broke trying to type all those numbers for a simple loaf of bread. The value of the Bolívar goes down every single day, making it extremely difficult to survive. Our people are just trying to stay afloat, that’s why we currently use USD and Euros for everyday life. The government destroyed an entire country, including its currency, its economy, and its own people.
