I took a neuropsych class in undergrad and I’ll never forget the section on CTE. It literally makes my skin crawl to think how much brain matter is being lost even from people who only play during highschool

not to mention, all the KIDS playing these sports and getting these injuries with ZERO medical surveillance or having it taken into consideration. Archie Manning sent his sons to the NFL- and he DID NOT allow them to play as children! nobody is taking CTE seriously enough!

I’m from South Africa, I did level 3 first aid when I was doing sports science , as part of our curriculum, we had to treat athletes during games and we treated rugby players. The level of aggression these people are capable of is insane , one had gotten a concussion and I was trying to convince him to stop and chill a little and he wasn’t having it , I let him go because I was scared 😭

Even current NFL players dismiss the dangers of concussions and CTE so why should druski ? just recently Jaxson Dart was moaning in a post game interview about having to be in the concussion tent post sack, like mate they are trying to help your brain not turn into a loofer and you are complaining 🙄

On top on all of that the NFL will pump you full of “legal drugs.” Remember AB’s last breakdown he told us the league knew his ankle was damaged and they were shooting him up with painkillers on the sideline and forcing him to play. The NFL has to be held accountable.

Its the fact that this affects a lot of young working class men and boys. That these boys are pushed to damage their bodies for a less that 1% chance of true success, its wider than America football. Its seen in all contact sports, boxing, football/soccer, wrestling, rugby, martial arts. The list goes on. These boys and men are unrecognisable by the end of their careers. His skit isnt too far its a confrontation on the predatory industry that invited barbarism, its modern day bear bating. They are disposable, their gear barely protects them, they do not care about them.
