Minimum wage last increased under NDP. I remember Kenny lowered minimum wage for most workers under 18. ($15 to $13) & UCP eliminated the scheduled increases NDP had passed when they were in power locking in $15 an hour.

In the US, only 1% of income earners earn their minimum wage - everyone else makes higher than minimum wage. Canada could learn something from that

if the minimum wage goes up so will everything else, gas, groceries, eating at a restaurant, because those are the people making minimum wage, so when their wages go up, the cost goes up, because no business owner is going to lose profits to pay their employees.
