What I would ask Plato then is what grounding/justification does the theory of the good form (his rebuttal to thrasymachus) have outside of itself. You don’t need to accept Thrasymachus’ conclusion to acknowledge that the phenomenon he’s describing actually exists independently of his claiming it. It’s verifiable through historical observation, anthropological pattern, evolutionary biology, Nietzsche proved it in his own genealogy of morality. Plato’s Form of the Good has no equivalent external anchor.

I mean, its true as a logic that X can dominate Y. But this counts for..so many scenarios outside of male vs female. Old men vs young men. Tall men vs short men. Able bodied vs disabled. Adults vs kids. The healthy vs the sick. Its so reductive. Are old men inferior to young men? Do old men depend on young men for their rights? They make a descriptive claim and an ought claim, then back up the ought by the unrefutable descriptive, which is circular logic. Not only is it a non sequtior, but they also refuse any analogies for the core logic.

Your claim is that these men think being physically stronger means you deserve to be in charge. No one says this. Instead they say, Family works better this way, its duty based or theological reasonings. Its ironic as liberalism (right and left wings) whole shtick is “I can do it, I consented, nobody else is harmed, so it’s fine.” Its exactly the same but u replaced capacity and muscle with capacity and desire. Modern masculinists, redpill, trads, right-wingers, alpha males, patriarchalists, orthodox is not one position. It is at least four that often contradict each other. Like Aristotle on natural law who said differentiated function follows from reproductive biology. Theological based, hedonistic based too. Its not “men are stronger, so they should rule,” but “the family exists for the raising of children, and these roles serve that end.” You can reject teleology, but then you have to argue against Aristotelian teleology instead of accusing people of logical mistakes they didnt commit. Often its deemed as duty not entitlement.
