@glo_fishing: These are the search baits I use when going to new ponds or ponds I’ve been to before. The purpose of these baits is to find where bass are located in your body of water and what mood they are in depending on retrieval speed and action . I like to start out fast and have multiple actions at first to see if they are in that chasing/ hunting mood. If I don’t get any hits , that’s when I slow down my retrieval speed and do more subtle actions to make it easier for the bass to lock in on the bait. I have these tied all year round and only change the colors and trailers depending on water clarity and forage present in the water .
