Idk about you but Melbourne prices lately??? 😭 So if you’re looking for actual filling meals (not tiny snacks) under $10 — here’s Part 1 of my go-to hidden finds 👀⬇️ (1) 🔖 Sushi Wago 📍 Inside Midtown, Bourke Street Hidden Japanese sushi & curry spot that gets PACKED during lunch hours. Their curry rice bowls are $9.40 (chicken cutlet/karaage) and honestly the flavour is GOOD good. Quick hack 👀 if you order pickup via Fantuan it can go down to around $7.22 sometimes!! (2) 🔖 E Sun Cake 📍 Inside Ting Tea, Swanston Street This one deserves more hype. Taiwanese rice rolls ALL $10 — and they are PACKED with fillings. My favourite is salted egg AND Taiwan sausage 🤤. They also sell traditional Chinese rice cakes (發糕) under $10 too! (3) 🔖 Good Hot Pot 📍 365 Lonsdale St, Melbourne They’re known for hotpot BUT their Chinese main dishes are $9.99 🥹 Fried rice, stir-fry dishes, noodle soups ✨ portions are HUGE. I always takeaway!! Sometimes after 3pm they do 50% off bento boxes… which means 2 meals + 1 rice for around $5.50 😭 (4) 🔖 Soul Origin 📍 Melbourne Central Food Court (L2) If you’re nearby after work, their pasta bowls, salad bowls, wraps & schnitzel baguettes are $8.50 after 4pm ✨🫡 They also do breakfast wrap + small coffee for $10!! (5) 🔖 Nasi Lemak House 📍 115 Grattan St, Carlton To my fellow Malaysians 🇲🇾 — you HAVE to try their Drumstick Nasi Lemak!! Lunch special around $10.5 (slightly over budget but worth). Flavour-wise super good. But their other Malaysian dishes I would say not so much like back home BUT still decent - They have spice bag?? One of the best in Melbourne (a bit pricier but so worth it). Follow me for more budget eats in MELBOURNE 🇦🇺 Part 2 coming soon! #melbourneeats #melbournecheapeats #melbournefoodblogger #melbournefoodunder10dollars #melbournecbdfood
