Power Glove wasn't actually made by Nintendo. A 3rd party showed Nintendo the Power Glove to Nintendo to get an official license from them. At first Nintendo didn't liked it, but after some negotiations Nintendo told them if the Power Glove works with every official game on the NES, they would give the license
