I'm trying to get through "Happiness" I've heard so many cinephiles talk about it so I'm giving it a try. It's been tough. Also just watched "Dogtooth" I had to be silent for a bit afterward

Piggy (French slasher/thriller…that’s kindaaa funny at times), House (Japanese campy horror), I saw some people recommend Cure & Pulse (100% AGREE!), The Vanishing (Dutch psychological horror…SOOO sad and disturbing), The Dark Crystal (the puppets were soo scary lol 😂), Labyrinth and Don’t look under the bed (I saw both those movies as a kid and I stilll think about scenes from them) 😩

Fat Girl (most Catherine Breillat films tbh), Pink Flamingos, Dogtooth, Audition, Irriversible(actually all Gaspar Noe films), Salo, Gummo, Kids, Happiness. Also The Devils, which is coming to theaters soon! Not super disturbing, but definitely controversial.
