@discover_california_: Tahoe… We all know it. We all love it. It’s just one of those places you need to experience for yourself to “get it.” We recently spent a long weekend road tripping through the area, and here are some of the highlights. 1️⃣ Secret Cove Easily one of the most picturesque coves in Lake Tahoe. You’ll find that perfect mix of the famous granite boulders breaking through the crystal-clear waters. 2️⃣ Chimney Rock Beach Another lovely beachy cove to relax in. And it’s actually a relatively easy hike to get here from Secret Cove. Why is it called Chimney Beach? Well, because there’s a random chimney on it, of course! 3️⃣ Eagle Falls & Eagle Lake This moderate hike takes you to a beautiful waterfall, and into the Desolation Wilderness to Eagle Lake. The lake is a perfect spot to stop, rest, and throw down some snacks before making the return hike. 4️⃣ Emerald Bay Classic Tahoe. Take in the views from one of the viewpoints, or hike down to the shore. There’s a castle-type thing down by the shore, but I’ve not made it there yet.
