TikTok takes away Likes also.. I’ve got many videos that every time it hits over 200 Likes, TikTok knocks it down to 40, and this happens over and over… some are wiped out entirely to zero… and TikTok just calls it a “glitch” 😏 It’s the #1 reason I won’t pay for any video promotion. TikTok needs to have a stable format worth investing in, and they don’t.

I can say your dad/family became more interesting to me when I learned he gave my great-grandma a job as a copy editor in Chicago at a time when people didn’t want to hire a divorced woman even if she divorced her husband to save her kids. Beyond that I just think you seem interesting and relatable. Would I have followed you without the last name? I think so. Would you have shown up in my algorithm though? I don’t know because that just isn’t the reality we’re in. But you’re here now so just be you. It’s not about what we want to see. It’s about what you want to convey. If you want to convey anything at all.

And I really enjoy hearing real stories and autobiographical content, famous or not. I think it’s living vicariously through others because I feel like my life isn’t very interesting.
