I don't buy planners, but I do buy notebooks to use as planners. I draw out the monthly and weekly calendars, and jot in things that need to happen and have happened, so it's part diary, part planner. Some are spiral bound, some are composition notebooks, and lately, they're soft bound dot grid notebooks. . I use at least one a year, and if I'm really busy, may use up 2 or even 3 during the year. . I keep them, too, because this is my personal history.
