Ummmm hobbies??? Life?? Like, I want kids, but it just hasn’t happened yet. In the meantime, I’m enjoying living my life (writing, staying up late, reading, baking, gaming, etc) and not being bound to the whims of a mini-me in monster form. 🙃

I slept in till 9:30, then I went apartment shopping for my first 2b2b. One of those rooms will be my gaming office, and the bathroom will be just for the cats' stuff. Now that I'm home again, I took a nice cold shower cuz I was all sweaty and gross, ate a bowl of cereal, and now I'm going to sit my happy ass down on the couch and play EverQuest Legends until my migraine goes away, then I'll do some writing in my scifi novel while watching an Australian guy do landscaping on YouTube. And not once will I be bothered, except by said cats, who will be demanding dinner any minute.

I was 37 when my son was born. I struggled with infertility but until he was born I was living it up gaming and pursing personal development. No shame in taking care of yourself; not everyone needs to be a parent and there’s no shame in not having kids. Not everyone who is of childbearing age can have children even if they want them and they aren’t any less worthy.
