When I was 1st diagnosed with crps 24 years ago I did the injections and they somewhat helped. I have full body crps now and nothing has really helped. I have done injections, ketamine type coma and spinal cord stimulators.

I used to get them until I had my fusions ( fusion was my cure btw) in hypersensitive to steroids. I flush , I also get intense immune responses to steroids . It’s the same response I have to vaccines . Body aches , lymph nodes fire up, and I’m miserable for a couple of days . Plus i feel like I’m going to crawl out of my skin. It’s not an allergy , it’s just how I respond to them. Wishing you the best

I had injections into my lower back. They’re called TPI injections. (Trigger point injections) The injections include CORTISCOSTEROID. My L4 and L5 are my discs that are bad! They sometimes affect my sciatica nerve, which then affects my right leg to literally not work! I have to use a cane or walker. Sometimes these episodes lasts up to 2 months of not being able to walk without the help of my cane or walker. The injections do help, but sometimes takes days to actually help. Dr says these episodes are now a lifetime thing. For the rest of my life I have to be careful how I bend down, turn a certain way, and not to lift heavy items. 😞
