It's not mispronounced, miss. British English, American English, and Australian English are different when it comes to pronunciation. But if you are talking to a non-English speaker, you don't know what type of English they follow whether it's American English, British English, or Australian English. And having different pronunciations is also called accent identification. How would you know if someone is from Canada, Australia, or England if they have similar accents? Again, nothing is mispronounced here.
