Girl …. I thought you were gonna give us something helpful . I’m a law student with extremely minimal free time , so now I’m just busy and hurting. Stop telling single people that if they feel lonely, it’s bc they’re not busy enough . Work and hobbies will never be a replacement for human connection. If you feel lonely and sad abt never being in a relationship it just means you’re human and you’re desiring that companionship

Girl, I can work and do as many hobbies as I can, but the hurt will always be there… it’s an impossible feeling to describe if you’ve never felt it because it’s not just about “I want a boyfriend” it’s genuinely questioning if you are even lovable at all. It fucks up your psyche so much. It’s not like we are trying to think about it. It’s not like I want to think about it. It takes the simplest little thing in my entire day is ruined emotionally, I don’t think that this advice is hitting in the way that you think because it is a natural human desire to want to be desired. We are quite literally engineered to be with another person so to tell people that they just need to distract themselves from something that is innately human. It’s just rude honestly.

Some people may think it's weird that some people have not been in a relationship. But I don't think it's weird because so many people these days have been through this and end up only dating and marrying their person later on in life.
